According to VODACOM...

1. Dial *111*123# from the cell phone you want to block

2. There are NO subscription fees applicable to set up this service

3. It should however be noted that when the cell phone is blocked, it can only be unblocked by going to a Vodashop and producing identification to prove that the person is older than 13 years old.

Note: Please call/contact VODACOM or your service provider to discuss the content implications/restrictions of this "block" service.

According to MTN...

1. Dial *101# from the cell phone you would like to restrict and follow the menu prompts

2. Select the content category to be barred

3. Input the cell phone number to receive updates on the filter's settings and your chosen PIN number
